Testimonials

I had a last minute dash request for 100 usb's for a client event and only had 4 days to source them. My usual supplier couldn't do anything for 14 days so was very happy when I found USB design. They called me back very quickly, I sent through the design needed and by the next day I had a proof sent through and confirmation that they could produce them within the short timeframe. The order went ahead very successfully, the client was happy and the whole process was very efficient.

Screen Printing aka Serigraphy
How are Promotional USB’s branded?
There are many ways in which you can brand a USB. The ideal method depends on the type of product and also the material that it is made from. The type of logo, size and amount of colours, also plays an important part when choosing the correct product and printing method.
Nowadays USB’s come in a variety of materials from Plastic and Metal up to Bamboo and Wood. Choosing the right style and material of USB to compliment your logo is a key part of the process, as when you brand an item with your logo, the quality of the product is a direct representation of your company.
Screen Printing Method
For a simple logo with ideally no more than four spot colours, the favoured method is Screen Printing, which is also known as Serigraphy. This is done by creating a sharp edged image through the use of a stencil and porous fabric. The fabric is stretched across a frame and parts of the screen are blocked out using a non porous substance, which leaves a positive image of what is to be printed. The remaining open areas which are not blocked out, is where the ink goes. For every colour that needs to be printed, a new stencil is required.
Quality Control Process
When a graphic sample is crated, the relevant pantone colours in the logo are listed. Once the graphic is approved, the colours for printing are mixed accordingly to the specific pantone colours in the logo. This is why all graphics should be thoroughly checked before approving.
When you screen print to a plastic surface you always get a good adhesion between the ink and the print surface. To enable us to get the maximum adhesion to a metal surface, the metallic components are fired in an oven. This makes sure you get the best adhesion possible and also makes for an excellent finish.
